Ramallah- Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah condemned Israel's raid on the Arab American University, located in the Governorate of Jenin.

"I reiterate our call for international protection; Israel should not be allowed to continue to act above the law. The international community witnesses yet another violation of the sanctity of Palestinian educational institutions, and it should not remain silent," Hamdallah said.

Israeli forces stormed the Arab American University at dawn on Tuesday, raiding several buildings including the Student Administration Building and the Student Union Headquarters where they confiscated files, computers, documents and left destruction behind. This is not the first time that the Arab American University and other Palestinian educational institutions have been subjected to arbitrary Israeli raids. In the past several months, the Arab American University , Birzeit University, and the Kadoorie Institute have been targeted by Israeli security forces.
