Prime Minister Dr. Mohammad Shtayyeh Meets Head of Finland's Representative Office in Palestine

Prime Minister Dr. Mohammad Shtayyeh today met with Päivi Peltokoski, the Head of Finland's Representative Office in Palestine, to discuss strengthening cooperation and pushing forward bilateral relations. During the meeting, the Prime Minister urged Finland to pay more attention to vocational and technical training in the upcoming year, referring to the government plans to establish a vocational and technical training university in Palestine.

The Prime Minister called upon Finland, based on its belief in the values of justice and international law, to follow the footsteps of other countries by recognizing the State of Palestine to as well break from the status quo and preserve the two-state solution.

The Prime Minister reviewed the latest political developments, Israeli violations, settlement expansion, and the efforts made to hold an international peace conference, called for by President Mahmoud Abbas, toward a just and comprehensive solution to the question of Palestine based on international legitimacy.
