Ramallah – Prime Minister’s Office - Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Mohammed Mustafa, met with the European Union Special Representative for the Middle East Peace Process, Sven M.G. Koopmans at his office in Ramallah, during which they discussed the latest political developments and the successive recognitions of the State of Palestine, as well as the developments on the ground amidst the ongoing Israeli genocidal war against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and the violations committed by the Israeli occupation army and settlers in the West Bank.

Mustafa emphasized the significance of recognizing the State of Palestine as well, particularly by European countries that have not yet done so, and expressed the importance of supporting the Palestinian people's right to statehood, freedom, and independence.

Furthermore, he urged the European Union to intensify its efforts to put an end to the Israeli genocidal war against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, calling for pressure on Israel to release the withheld Palestinian tax funds and cease all illegal deductions.

The Prime Minister also outlined the government's post-war plans for the Gaza Strip, which encompass all sectors and institutions and focus on enhancing relief efforts and restoring essential services in preparation for the reconstruction process.
