Ramallah, Prime Minister’s Office – Prime Minister Dr. Mohammad Mustafa met on Monday in his office in Ramallah with UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator, Tom Fletcher, to discuss enhancing coordination and doubling joint efforts in implementing the Government's Relief, Early Recovery, and Emergency Response Plan to address the needs of the Palestinian people in Gaza. The meeting focused on prioritizing temporary shelter, rubble removal, and the rehabilitation of partially damaged homes.

The Prime Minister reaffirmed the importance of joint coordination between all UN agencies and the Government Operations Room for Emergency Interventions for the Gaza Strip and its field teams operating in Gaza to maximize the use of available resources, enhance the humanitarian and relief response, and ensure the broader and more equitable distribution of aid to those in need.
