The Palestinian Government  strongly condemn the colonial Israeli attack on the privately owned Palestinian lands near the villages of Ras Karkar, Kafr Naama, and Kharbatha Bani Harith. These lands are a vital agricultural area for the residents of surrounding villages with a capacity of 1000 dunums, located 13 kilometers to the northwest of Ramallah Governorate.

Last week, the Israeli Occupying Forces (IOF) stormed the area of Jabal al-Risan in Ras Karar and declared it a closed military zone to facilitate the work of settlers who brought bulldozers to dig a road as a preface to build a new colonial settlement.

This step is a clear breach of the International Law and UNSC resolution No. 2334. It aims at serving a greater colonial scheme to expand and link the confiscated area with the so-called "Modi'in" settlement and the occupied territories, which will isolate these lands from the rest of the Occupied West Bank.

This recent colonial Israeli activity comes with a new Israeli "judicial ground" as the Israeli courts gave a "legal recognition" to a new settlement on private Palestinian land without the authorization of the Israeli Government. “This new dangerous action is a clear proof of the Israeli settler colonialism thirst that is supported by the Israeli "Jewish Nation-State Law", and the Trump administration, which allows settlers to increase their violence against Palestinians and their property.” Government stated  

"We call upon world leaders to intervene immediately and hold Israel and its illegal settlers accountable for the criminal provocative colonial behavior, which systematically wipes out the Palestinian presence and continuity on the Palestinian soil, and destroying the territorial and demographic contiguity of the future State of Palestine." Government stated
