· Deplored the incitement campaign led by Hamas against President Mahmoud Abbas that is accompanied by the Israeli incitement campaign against the Palestinian nation and its leadership aimed to liquidate the Palestinian national project and undermine the Palestinian independent national decision that is the core defensive mechanism to protect the Palestinian fundamental rights and aspirations to end the Israeli occupation, achieve freedom, and establish an independent Palestinian state with its eternal capital East Jerusalem. In addition, the cabinet called upon all factions of the Palestinian society to support President Mahmoud Abbas and the Palestinian leadership in the face of all the shameful attempts to bypass the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) the legitimate and sole representative of the Palestinian nation. “The PLO will remain the main title for the Palestinian nation, the unified framework for all Palestinian political factions, and the safety net that leads our people to freedom." The cabinet stated.
· Saluted the citizens of Occupied Jerusalem for breaking the Israeli occupation successive measures of control and closure imposed on Al-Rahma gate since 2003 and condemned the occupation government order to re-close the gate. Furthermore, the cabinet warned from the occupation authorities’ continuous provocations against the Palestinian citizens of Occupied Jerusalem. “The occupation authorities targets the Jerusalemites to deprive them of the most basic civil and human rights, continues its policies of ethnic cleansing and demolition of Palestinian homes. In addition to imposing more taxes and fines in order to pressure the Palestinian citizens to leave their holy city and replace them with settlers, referring to the increasing number of settlers in East Jerusalem that reached +300,000 settlers." The cabinet also stated "The work to support Jerusalem is sustainable and the Government will channel all efforts to provide financing and implement development projects in the various vital sectors of Jerusalem, in order to save the holy city, protect its sanctities, and strengthen the steadfastness of its people.” The cabinet also warned that Israel, the Occupying Power would not halt its daily aggression and attacks led by the occupation military forces and extremist Jewish groups against Jerusalem and its people. On that note, the cabinet called upon the Arab and Islamic countries to take serious actions in line with both the brave stand of the citizens to defend their rights and the occupation increasing threats against them.
· Condemned the arrests campaign carried out by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) in the occupied city of Jerusalem, which included the President of the Awqaf Council Sheikh Abdul Azim Salhab and the Deputy Director of Awqaf Dr. Najih Bkirat. "The occupation arrests to the religious authorities in Jerusalem is a very dangerous escalation that is not acceptable, It pushes the situation in the Palestinian territory for further tension and more violations of International law." the cabinet stressed. On that note, the cabinet held the occupation government fully responsible for the lives of the detainees and called upon the international community to ensure the release of the detainees.
· Demanded on the day marking the massacre of Al-Ibrahimi Mosque, the international community, Security Council, relevant human rights, and human rights organizations to take serious steps against the continuous waves of Israeli incitements to kill and forcibly displace the Palestinian people. "The Israeli illegal measures against our nation requires the providing of international protection to prevent future massacres, especially, that this anniversary comes with the decision of the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to stop and expel the work of the international observer force, which leaves the Palestinian citizens defenseless in front of the armed settler militias." the cabinet added.
· Expressed its appreciation to Saudi Arabia for fulfilling its financial commitments by providing support to the national budget worth of USD $60 million. The cabinet expressed its gratitude to the Kingdom and to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, for his support and firm positions towards the Palestinian nation. In addition, the cabinet called upon the Arab, Islamic, and donor countries to fulfill their commitments to support the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and to enable the Palestinian government to meet its increasing obligations as a result of the illegal policies and practices of the Israeli occupation.
· Expressed its sincere gratitude to Japan for providing financial support to UNRWA worth of $ 23 million, in which $ 17.7 million will be allocated for the Agency's education and healthcare programs. Furthermore, the cabinet renewed its call to the international community and donor states to provide financial support to UNRWA to ensure the agency continues to provide services to Palestinian refugees until a just solution is found for the Palestinian refugees.
