
In addition to that, Prime Minister Dr. Shtayyeh praised the stance of Palestinian farmers, merchants and exporters in confronting this economic and agricultural war, as they affirmed their support for the policies of the Government aimed at gradually disengaging from the occupation, and promoting the national product.
Separately, the Cabinet asserted providing full support for President Mahmoud Abbas, who is expected to deliver a speech before the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday. During his speech, President Abbas would confirm the Palestinian rejection of The Deal of the Century and demands world countries to condemn the deal that undermines the national rights of the Palestinian people in accordance with the international legitimacy.
To conclude, Dr. Shtayyeh briefed Cabinet members on his participation at the 33rd African Union Summit, held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, during which the African leaders condemned the American plan deeming it unlawful and expressed their solidarity with the Palestinian issue.
