During a video conference today, Prime Minister Dr. Mohammad Shtayyeh and Niels Annen, Minister of State at the German Federal Foreign Office, discussed the latest political developments, efforts for the holding of general elections in Palestine, and the restoration of relations with the US.

The Prime Minister stressed the importance of supporting a political path based on international legitimacy, reviving the peace process towards achieving the two-state solution, and supporting the request of President Mahmoud Abbas to hold an international peace conference.
