Elections:

• The registration deadline for the legislative elections, scheduled to occur on 22 May, is tomorrow. The registration rate has reached 88% in the West Bank and over 90% in the Gaza Strip - a satisfactory percentage that reflects the citizens' desire and eagerness to exercise their right to vote.
• I urge those who have not yet registered to do so to be able to elect their representatives in the upcoming elections, which constitute a gateway to renewing our democratic life based on freedom, pluralism, and national partnership.
   

COVID-19:

• During the past few days, the records of infected cases indicated a slight increase. Therefore, the Cabinet has decided to renew the currently implemented preventive measures, starting tomorrow, to curb the rapid spread of COVID-19, which forced us to close many areas that have seen a rise in infection rates.
• At a time when many countries in the world are heading back into lockdown measures to confront the new strains of the virus, I stress the importance of adhering to the existing preventive and precautionary measures.
• Last week, we announced the start of the vaccination process for citizens by mid-February (following the vaccination of health workers). However, there was a delay in the arrival of the required vaccine quantities. Therefore, the vaccination campaign will be delayed-  until a later date ( to be announced) once we receive the vaccines from multiple sources.
• As previously mentioned, the vaccination campaign will prioritize people with chronic diseases and the elderly. Afterward, and to maintain the educational process's continuity without disruption, we will begin vaccinating the education sector workers ( in schools and universities) and security forces.
   

Israeli Violations:

• During the past days, we have witnessed an alarming escalation in organized settler terror, which took the lives of martyr Azzam Amer, from Kafr Qallil, and martyr Bilal Bawatneh, from Al-Bireh, with the injury of three of his colleagues, who were hit by settlers' cars. We extend our deepest condolences to the martyrs' families and wish a speedy recovery to the wounded.  We also have witnessed an increase in other attacks in many villages and towns, which caused dozens of citizens' injury while defending their homes and lands.
• The occupation authorities also continue to displace our citizens in the Jordan Valley, Masafir Yatta, and other communities in a flagrant violation of international law. Such violations pose a challenge to the will of the international community that expressed its condemnation of such violations and called for their immediate end.
• We will file/ report these violations to the International Criminal Court (ICC) as war crimes per international law.
• We also condemn the attempts of the occupation authorities to establish the "E1" colonial plan. This project includes 12,000 settlement units that will be linked to "Ma'ale Adumim" settlement leading to the isolation of occupied Jerusalem from the rest of the West Bank and the division of the West Bank into two separate areas, north and south.
• We call upon the international community and the new US administration to intervene and prevent the implementation of such schemes that undermine the two-state solution.
• It appears that The Jewish National Fund (JNF) will operate in the West Bank and Jerusalem. Therefore, I call on our citizens to beware of fraud and deceit attempts of some brokers and continue cultivating and taking care of their lands.
• We will prosecute the Jewish National Fund, as an Israeli settler-colonialism tool,  in the International Criminal Court (ICC). The fund is registered as a charity in Britain, the United States, Canada, and Israel. It receives donations exempt from taxes that are being used in/ for Israel's illegal colonial settlements.
