We assure his family and relatives that the investigation committee will carry out its work in a professional and transparent manner in order to clarify the truth and put things into perspective within the framework of the Palestinian law. Those who are found related to this issue shall be referred to the competent judicial authorities in a manner that gives everyone their right. We demand the investigation committee to complete its report within the next two days.
-The Cabinet affirms respect for the citizens’ right to freedom of expression in accordance with democratic principles as part of the culture of our people. We also affirm respect for the independence of the judiciary and its decisions and respect for the freedom of the press and media. I also urge you and to keep our national effort focused on confronting the occupation and its colonial tools in occupied Jerusalem and Palestine. The Cabinet also emphasizes to hold -those who violate the law in a way that endangers the lives of our citizens- accountable. The security institution with its national ideology will provide continuous protection for our national project, and we must protect it and protect this project.
-We are working on Palestine's accession to the Optional Protocol against Torture without any single reservation. We are exerting efforts to spread the culture of pluralism and the rule of law including resort to rules stipulated in international agreements signed by Palestine.
