-Today, we launched a vaccination campaign for school students aged 16-18 years old. This campaign will soon expand to all national schools and universities after the completion of the vaccination of educational and administrative staffs to ensure safe learning for all students. I also advised students to urge their parents to get vaccinated for their safety and the safety of their society.

-In this context, I call upon all citizens to quickly get vaccinated in more than 70 national health centers distributed across all governorates to protect themselves and their society from the highly dangerous new COVID-19 variants, especially for those who have not received the vaccination yet.

- We look forward to the upcoming trilateral Palestinian-Egyptian-Jordanian summit in Cairo, which aims to urge the US administration to fulfill its promises to preserve the two-state solution through practical measures that put an end to Israel’s ongoing settlement policy in all of the occupied Palestinian territory, especially in occupied Jerusalem, and create a political path that ends the occupation leading to an independent State of Palestine, with East Jerusalem as its capital, and the right of Palestine refugees to return.

-We call upon international human rights organizations, and Defence for Children International to intervene and stop the ongoing killings and torture of our children, the most recent of which was the execution of Omar Abu al-Nil, 12 years old, from Al-Tuffah neighborhood in the Gaza Strip, and the kidnapping of Tareq Zubeidi, 15 years old, from Al-Saila Al-Harithi, by Israeli settlers, who brutally attacked him- causing him to lose consciousness before being admitted to hospital.

-We call upon the International Committee of the Red Cross to provide appropriate health conditions that enable female prisoner Anhar al-Deek to give birth to her newborn inside the Israeli detention center, under the direct supervision of the World Health Organization doctors. We call on the occupation authorities to immediately release Anhar to obtain the needed, adequate health care. We also demand an immediate release of all Palestinian prisoners, particularly the ill, children, and women.
