Today, Prime Minister Dr. Mohammad Shtayyeh held two separate meetings with two U.S. Congressional delegations, comprising of 25 members, mostly of the Democratic Party. 
The Prime Minister stressed the importance of the US recognition of the State of Palestine to protect the two-state solution. 
The Prime Minister also urged the US to condemn settlement expansion and to pressure Israel to allow holding the general elections in occupied Jerusalem and all occupied Palestine.
