Today, Prime Minister Dr. Mohammad Shtayyeh and Mary Ng, Canada's Minister of International Trade, Export Promotion, Small Business and Economic Development, discussed the recent political developments, and possible ways to progress bilateral cooperation.

The Prime Minister called on Canada to recognize the State of Palestine, stressing the importance of protecting the two-state solution amidst continued Israeli policies that aim to destroy every opportunity towards the embodiment of an independent and sovereign State of Palestine.
