Today, Prime Minister Dr. Mohammad Shtayyeh and Paige Alexander, the CEO of the Carter Center, discussed a report by the center on the Palestinian local elections that took place in March. Both reviewed prospects for holding the general elections to promote the renewal of the democratic glow in Palestine.

The Prime Minister called on Israel and the international community to respect the fundamental rights of the Palestinian people to hold the general elections in occupied Jerusalem and all occupied Palestine.
