Yesterday, Israel crossed all red lines and international agreements/ treaties through its repeated aggression against the Al-Aqsa Mosque and Jerusalem and through its attempt to impose a reality that contradicts the existing legal and historical status quo in occupied Jerusalem.
Israel has not been able to break the will of our people and impose sovereignty on them. Military occupation is one thing and imposing sovereignty is something else. Our people in Jerusalem will fail the new fait accompli policy that Israel is trying to impose.
Jerusalem is the capital of the State of Palestine and its people are our people.
Israel’s measures, incursions into the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and waving flags in its compound, requires a courageous move from us to protect our sanctities, land and homeland. The Arab nation should have a serious stance and a genuine review on the nature of the conflict in Palestine. In addition, the international community should exert efforts to stop [Israel’s] violations against our people and provide them with international protection.
The Kach Kahane movement has been removed from the list of terror organizations in the United States. Is this conceivable while the Palestine Liberation Organization has been on the terror list in Washington since 1987, despite the repeated visits of the late President Yasser Arafat and President Mahmoud Abbas to the White House? Washington is required to remove the Palestine Liberation Organization from its terror list and consider the PLO a partner in international and regional peace.
