On the fifty-fifth commemoration of the Naksa Day of June 1967 [marking 55 years of Israeli colonial army expansion to occupy the West Bank, including East Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip during the June 1967 aggression], we shall say that this Naksa and this occupation would not have been able to continue for 55 years if it was held accountable for its occupation and violations, and if there was an international will to end it.

We call on the international community to take the necessary measures to stop its policy of 'double standards’, and to punish the occupying power for its violations, crimes and flagrant violations of international law to pressure it to end its occupation of the State of Palestine and its capital.

Yesterday marked the International Day for the Protection of Children, while the occupation forces continue to kill, arrest and intimidate our children. This requires competent parties and organizations to defend the rights and freedoms of our children and provide them with protection.
