Prime minister, Dr. Shtayyeh demanded that Israel and its leaders should not get away with crimes they committed, and consistent standards must be established to hold Israel accountable. 
Speaking at the outset of the Cabinet weekly meeting, PM said that the occupying Power's acts of aggression today against our people are a testament that the Nakba of 1948 continues to this day. The horrific massacre in Gaza killed 33 Palestinians martyrs, most of whom are women, children, elderly, and hundreds of wounded and homeless, whose homes were demolished. 

The Prime Minister also referred to President Mahmoud Abbas's speech this evening at the United Nations, where the memory of Nakba is commemorated for the first time before the international community, while the President presents, on behalf of 14 million Palestinians, gives a narrative of Nakba victims in 1948, and refutes the fake and false Israeli narrative. PM urged the UN, to condemn Israeli systematic aggression and the ongoing killings of Palestinians, and further stressed that Palestinians are struggling to end the occupation and to embody a Palestinian state with sovereignty, with Jerusalem as its capital, and the right of return for refugees. 

The Prime Minister called for the unification of international forces of liberation, justice, peace and equality for Palestine, to counter colonialism, settlement, exploitation, injustice and racial discrimination wherever they may be. He called on States, Governments, international bodies and courts to halt Israel's exception to international and humanitarian law, demanding that it be held accountable for war crimes and its crimes against humanity that it continued to commit against the Palestinian people for the eighth consecutive decade.
