The Cabinet demanded the International Community to hold Israel accountable for their disregard of international law. 

Speaking at the outset of the Cabinet weekly meeting, Dr. Shtayyeh called on the International Community to take responsibility towards the Israeli Occupation aggression against Palestinians, and their disregard to International Law. The meeting also demanded Britain to recognize the State of Palestine, in light of marking the 105th anniversary of the illegal Balfour Declaration; a pledge by British foreign secretary Arthur Balfour on behalf of Britain’s cabinet, through which Britain gave what it did not possess to those who had no right. 

The Cabinet discussed how the overall impacts of this declaration have been immense on Palestinians, and that Palestinians are still struggling with its political, human, and geographic consequences. Therefore, the Palestinian Cabinet demanded Britain to recognize Palestine as a sovereign and independent State, with Jerusalem as its capital, and the right of return for Palestinian refugees. 

The Prime Minister extended his thanks to the Indonesian President, the staff of his government, and the people of Indonesia for their warm reception and support for our people, and thanked to the President of the Republic of Singapore, the Prime Minister, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and the staff of the Republic for their assistance. Dr. Shtayyeh extended his appreciation to Indonesia and Singapore for their consistent support of the Palestinian people and their cause.

Regarding the Knesset elections, Dr. Shtayyeh said, "Israel is going to elections after it immersed its electoral campaigns with more killing, filed executions, settlements expansion, and siege against our people." Realizing that these elections will not bring peace, and he urged the International Community to demand the next Israeli prime minister to promise their willingness to end the occupation, as part of a two-state solution on the basis of international legitimacy.
