The Prime Minister extended his best wishes on the beginning of the blessed month of Ramadan, and discussed topics related to teachers strike, educational, and political issues. 

Speaking at the outset of the Cabinet weekly meeting, the Prime Minister discussed the Israeli occupation forces continuous attacks and assaults on the Islamic and Christian sanctities, the latest of which was the evacuation of the worshipers from Al-Aqsa Mosque. Dr. Shtayyeh stressed that such attacks on Al-Aqsa Mosque must come to an end, for violating all religious, human, and moral values. The Prime Minister expressed his hope that the mediators of signed agreements with Israel will oblige Israel to cease its aggression against Palestinians, in all cities, villages, refugee camps, and all Islamic and Christian Holy places.

The Cabinet affirmed that it has done everything necessary towards teachers strike and their demands, by adding 15% to the salary slip - similarly with the rest of the unions – and other issues announced by the government spokesperson last Thursday. Accordingly, Dr. Shtayyeh expressed hope towards teachers’ adherence to their job duties, and in in the same context, the Cabinet assures that it will stand up to its responsibilities in ensuring the right to education for students, with all the required measures in accordance with Palestinian national interest. The Cabinet tributes teachers and parents for their commitment and support.
  
The Cabinet also saluted  Palestinians in celebration of Land Day, the 30th of this March, remembering the martyrs who died confronting the forces of colonial powers, wishes the wounded a speedy recovery, and the release of  all Palestinian prisoners.

The Cabinet conclude this session by discussing educational, security and political issues, infrastructure projects, laws and other regulations related to licensing new gas stations, medical malpractice, and e-commerce indicators.
