Prime Minister: We warn the International community of the new-extremist Israeli government

Palestinian Prime Minister, Dr. Mohammad Shtayyeh said, during the cabinet weekly meeting, that “the features of the next Israeli government have become clear, along with its aggressive, extremist, and colonial plans to cancel the 1967 borders, strengthen colonial outposts in order to turn them into new settlements, and cover settlements legally, financially and politically, despite knowing that all settlements are illegal and illegitimate under international law.”

The Prime Minister also warned that the next Israeli government intends to bolster the settler militias with army protection, which invites for further escalation to an already tense situation with their current policy. “This terrorism, threat, and intimidation will not frighten us,” PM Dr. Shtayyeh added, stressing that this policy will not deter Palestinian resistance, and Palestinians will remain resilient in Jerusalem, Gaza, and everywhere.

The Council of Ministers condemned the Israeli occupation's demolition of schools, and depriving of students of their right to education. Prime Minister pointed out that today, as the cabinet meeting takes place, the occupation army delivered a demolition notice for the "Khashm al-Karm" school, and implemented a demolition order a few days ago for two schools in Msafir Yatta, Hebron Governorate. He called on the European Union to take a stand from the occupation's destruction of educational institutions funded by the EU.
