The Prime Minister Dr. Shtayyeh has called for the prosecution of the Israeli occupation for its persistence in killing Palestinian children on daily basis. PM expressed concern about the international community's silence and demanded that Israel cease its unfair deductions from Palestinian tax funds. Furthermore, the Prime Minister expressed his confidence in Saudi Arabia, which considers the Palestinian cause a focus of its interest and a top priority in its regional and international deliberations. The Prime Minister also called for the formation of a committee to renovate Tell Al-Sultan site for its registration on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Speaking at the outset of the Cabinet weekly meeting, Prime Minister Dr. Shtayyeh spoke of the persistent killing of Palestinian children by the Israeli occupation and called for justice to be served. PM expressed his concern about the international community's silence and emphasized that it is not innocent of Israeli crimes. In response to Israel's claim that it will provide a facilitation package, including the cancellation of a loan it says it provided to the PA, Dr. Shtayyeh stated that the money is from Palestinian tax fund and that it is our right to receive it.

Prime Minister Dr. Shtayyeh highlighted the importance of the political movement in the region and President Mahmoud Abbas's active involvement in it. PM Dr. Shtayyeh expressed his confidence in Saudi Arabia's commitment to the Palestinian cause, considering it a focus of its interest and a top priority in its regional and international deliberations. PM also acknowledged Saudi Arabia's ongoing support for Al-Aqsa, Jerusalem, and Palestine as a whole.

The Cabinet discussed a report from the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Riyad Al-Malki, on the diplomatic efforts made to obtain a decision from the International Court of Justice. The decision would provide a legal opinion on the existence of the Israeli colonial occupation in the occupied Palestinian territories, the legal consequences arising from that, and the duties of member states and the United Nations. The decision is expected to be issued in the second half of next year, after the completion of the list of countries that submitted their pleadings. The number of countries that submitted their pleadings amounted to 57, which is the largest number recorded in the history of the international organization since its establishment.

The Cabinet briefed a report on the site of Tell Al-Sultan in the city of Jericho, presented by the Director General of World Heritage in the Ministry, Dr. Ahmed Rajoub. The report reviewed the historical significance of the site and the urgent need to work on renovating it with a grant provided by the Italian government in the amount of 2 million and 400 thousand dollars. The Cabinet confirmed that the goal is to ensure its registration on the UNESCO World Heritage List. To this end, the Council of Ministers decided to form a Committee headed by the Ministry of Interior. The committee will include the ministries of tourism, finance, justice, and local government, as well as the Land Authority and Jericho Governorate. The Cabinet authorized the committee to study the necessary requirements to rehabilitate the site and submit its report to the Cabinet within two weeks.
