Council of Ministers forms a number of permanent ministerial committees

Ramallah – Prime Minister Office - In its first session, the Council of Ministers decided to form several permanent ministerial committees. These include the Standing Ministerial Committee on Reform, the Standing Ministerial Committee on Social Affairs, the Standing Ministerial Committee on Economic Development, the Standing Ministerial Committee on Infrastructure, the Standing Ministerial Committee on Jerusalem Affairs, and the Standing Ministerial Committee on Administrative Development.

The Cabinet also decided to establish a Development and Institutional Reform office at the Prime Minister's Office, which will oversee the implementation of the development and reform program.

On this matter, Prime Minister Mohammed Mustafa emphasized that the Standing Ministerial Committee on Reform, along with the other committees, falls within the government's duties to undertake extensive institutional reforms aimed at improving performance and providing better services to the Palestinian People.
