France supports Palestinian budget with EUR 8 million

Ramallah – Prime Minister’s Office – Under the patronage and in the presence of Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Mohammed Mustafa, French Consul General in Jerusalem, Nicolas Kassianides, signed an agreement with the Ministry of Finance to provide 8 million euros of support for the Palestinian budget. This funding will assist in paying salaries, particularly for the Ministry of Health, which plays a crucial role in addressing the urgent needs of the Palestinian people.

During the signing ceremony at the Prime Minister's Office in Ramallah, Mustafa expressed deep appreciation to France for its support, especially in light of the difficult financial conditions the government is experiencing due to Israel's illegal and continued withholding of Palestinian tax funds; a situation that severely limits the government's ability to fulfill its responsibilities towards the Palestinian people.
