Ramallah – Prime Minister’s Office – Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Mohammad Mustafa briefed the Managing Director for Middle East and North Africa at the European External Action Service, Helene Le Gal, and her accompanying delegation on the latest developments amidst the ongoing Israeli genocidal war against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, as well as on the attacks by the Israeli army and settlers in the West Bank, daily incursions, killings, arrests, land confiscations, and the continued illegal withholding of Palestinian clearance funds and deductions by Israel.

Mustafa stressed the need for consolidated efforts to stop the genocidal war against the Palestinian people in Gaza and strengthen relief and humanitarian efforts by providing essential materials. He also highlighted the government’s initiatives for economic development, improving service quality, and the endeavor to unify institutions between the West Bank and Gaza and restore essential and governmental services once the war comes to an end.

Mustafa also expressed gratitude to the European Union for its consistent and unwavering political and financial support for Palestine, as well as for supporting development projects, and vital sectors, particularly health and education.

Le Gal, on her turn, reaffirmed the EU's continued political and financial support for Palestine, including support for relief efforts in Gaza and the West Bank, and the government's institutional reform program.

This came during a meeting at the Prime Minister’s Office in Ramallah, in the presence of Minister of Health, Majed Abu Ramadan, and the EU Representative to the State of Palestine, Alexandre Stutzmann.
