Prime Minister Mustafa and EU Commission discuss support for government development initiatives and reconstructions efforts

Ramallah – Prime Minister’s Office – Prime Minister Dr. Mohammad Mustafa met with the European Commission Director General for Neighborhood and Enlargement Negotiations, Gert Jan Koopman, to discuss enhancing cooperation and avenues for supporting government development initiatives in several key sectors including energy, health, social protection and economic empowerment.

Mustafa and Koopman also discussed ways to support the government’s institutional reform program, as well as supporting its reconstruction, economic and social development efforts once the war against the Palestinian people comes to an end.

Prime Minister further expressed appreciation for the European Union's continued support for Palestine, emphasizing its crucial role in promoting peace, building the Palestinian state, and achieving the two-state solution.

This came during a meeting at the Prime Minister’s Office in Ramallah, in the presence of the European Union Representative in Palestine Alexandre Stutzmann, Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Wael Zagout, Minister of Social Development Samah Hamad, Minister of State for Relief Affairs Basil Nasser, and the Head of the Executive Office for Institutional Reform at the Prime Minister’s Office Mohammad Al-Ahmad.
