Ramallah – Prime Minister’s Office – Prime Minister Dr. Mohammad Mustafa discussed with the Managing Director for the Southern and Eastern Mediterranean (SEMED) region at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Heike Harmgart, support for government initiatives in the renewable energy sector and economic empowerment.

During a meeting at his office in Ramallah, Mustafa briefed the EBRD delegation, in the presence of Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Wael Zagout, on the initiatives being prepared by the government for key sectors, namely: energy security, localization of health services, digital transformation, development of social protection, and economic empowerment. These initiatives are aimed at stimulating the economy and creating job opportunities.

The Prime Minister also emphasized that the government prioritizes public-private partnership, highlighting its role in improving the services provided to citizens and supporting and developing the private sector, especially amid the difficult conditions resulting from the continued Israeli occupation aggression against the Palestinian people.
