Prime Minister Mustafa discusses status of Palestinian women, especially in Gaza, with women’s organizations

Ramallah – Prime Minister’s Office – Prime Minister Dr. Mohammad Mustafa discussed the status of Palestinian women under occupation, especially in light of the ongoing war waged by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, during a meeting at the Ministry of Women’s Affairs, where he met with representatives of women's organizations, in the presence of Minister of Women’s Affairs Mona Al-Khalili and ministry officials.

The Prime Minister highlighted the active role and contributions of women in society and the realization of the progress that Palestinian women aspire to achieve, whether in the legislative environment, political and economic participation, or other areas.

“We want an independent, sovereign state where society is strong and productive, involving all of its segments, especially women and youth, in the process of building and development, to provide a dignified life for our people,” Mustafa said.

He stressed that, despite the difficult conditions and challenges faced at this stage, the government remains steadfast in mobilizing its capabilities and efforts to uplift and advance all sectors and institutions, building on the achievements made over many years.
