Ramallah – Prime Minister’s Office - Prime Minister Prime Minister Dr. Mohammad Mustafa discussed with the United Nations Senior Humanitarian and Reconstruction Coordinator for Gaza, Sigrid Kaag, enhancing relief and humanitarian efforts in Gaza, increasing aid delivery, and ensuring its distribution at scale across the Gaza Strip.
During a meeting at his office in Ramallah, which was attended by Minister of Social Development Samah Hamad, Mustafa underscored the efforts and communications aimed at stopping the Israeli war of genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza. He highlighted the importance of coordination with all international bodies, particularly the United Nations, to provide all necessary emergency relief and humanitarian aid to meet the pressing needs of the afflicted people there.
Mustafa reaffirmed that Gaza is an integral part of the Palestinian state, and that and the Palestinian National Authority, has been responsible for providing services to the Palestinian people in Gaza, especially health, education, and infrastructure services, since it was established.
Kaag, for her part, expressed commitment to maintaining coordinated and joint efforts to support the Palestinian government in addressing the urgent humanitarian and relief needs in Gaza.
