Ramallah – Prime Minister’s Office - Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Mohammad Mustafa, discussed with Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of the Republic of South Africa, Ronald Lamola, the latest developments in Palestine and the ongoing efforts to stop the Israeli genocidal war against the Palestinian people.

During a phone call, Mustafa praised South Africa's principled and consistent positions on the Palestinian Question, highlighting its unwavering support for the just cause of the Palestinian people. He expressed deep appreciation for the country’s historic and unprecedented role in bringing Israel to international justice before the World Court for committing acts of genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and its cooperation with the State of Palestine in cases submitted to the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court.

The Prime Minister also congratulated South Africa on the success of its recent elections and the formation of a National Unity Government, extending his congratulations to Lamola on his new role as Minister of International Relations and Cooperation in this government.

Mustafa underscored the importance of continuing bilateral cooperation and the need to activate existing memorandums of understanding between the two countries across various sectors.
