Ramallah – Prime Minister’s Office - Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Mohammad Mustafa, discussed with the British Minister of State for the Middle East and North Africa, Hamish Falconer, the latest developments in the Palestinian territories, particularly amidst the ongoing Israeli genocidal war against the Palestinian people in Gaza and the intensified aggression by the Israeli occupation army and settlers in the West Bank.

During their phone call, Mustafa welcomed the British government’s recent positive measures, particularly the suspension of some export licenses for arms sales to Israel, which is regarded as an important step in line with international law, especially following the recent advisory opinion by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) on Israel's illegal occupation of Palestinian territories.

The Prime Minister reiterated the critical need to intensify efforts to stop the Israeli war against the Palestinian people in Gaza, open more crossings to increase the flow of humanitarian relief aid, and ensure its unimpeded delivery across the entire Gaza Strip.

Mustafa also stressed the continuation of Palestinian diplomatic efforts to criminalize the Israeli occupation, and to mobilize greater international support for the Palestinian right to self-determination, ending the occupation and establishing the independent Palestinian state.
