Prime Minister Mustafa discusses with UN Humanitarian Coordinator relief efforts and joint coordination for Gaza reconstruction

Ramallah – Prime Minister’s Office - Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Mohammad Mustafa, discussed with the UN Senior Humanitarian and Reconstruction Coordinator for Gaza, Sigrid Kaag, the latest developments and joint coordination of humanitarian and relief efforts in the Gaza Strip.

During a meeting at his office in Ramallah, attended by Minister of Social Development Samah Hamad and Minister of State for Relief Affairs Basil Nasser, the Prime Minister briefed the UN official on international contacts aimed at stopping the ongoing Israeli genocidal war against the Palestinian people in the war-torn Gaza Strip and the escalating aggression by the Israeli occupation army and settlers in the West Bank.

Mustafa also outlined the comprehensive plans and efforts to mobilize support for reconstruction and economic revitalization, in coordination with international partners, once the Israeli aggression ceases.

For her part, Kaag reaffirmed commitment to continued coordination and joint efforts, as well as supporting the Palestinian government's efforts to address the urgent humanitarian and relief needs in Gaza.
