Prime Minister Mustafa and Norwegian Foreign Minister discuss efforts to end Israeli war on Palestinian people

Madrid – Prime Minister’s Office - Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Mohammad Mustafa, met, in the Spanish capital Madrid, with the Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide. During the meeting, Mustafa briefed Eide on the latest developments in the Palestinian territories amid the ongoing Israeli war of genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and the aggression by the Israeli occupation forces and settlers in the West Bank.

Mustafa and Eide also discussed bolstering efforts and Norway’s support, alongside European partners, for Palestinian efforts to stop the Israeli war on the Palestinian People, end the Israeli occupation, implement the two-state solution, and establish the independent Palestinian state. Additionally, they addressed supporting reconstruction efforts in Gaza once the Israeli aggression ceases.

The Prime Minister praised Norway's unwavering support for, and firm stance on Palestinian rights, especially the country's recent recognition of the State of Palestine.

The meeting, held on the sidelines of the Arab-Islamic-European Ministerial meeting on Gaza and steps towards implementing the two-state solution, was attended by the Palestinian Ambassador to Spain, Husni Abdel Wahed, and Assistant to the Palestinian Foreign Minister Ambassador Omar Awadallah.
