
New York – Prime Minister’s Office - Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Mohammad Mustafa, took part in the Consultative Meeting of Arab League Council at the ministerial level, held on the margins of the High-Level Week of the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
Mustafa emphasized the necessity of exerting greater efforts to halt the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in Gaza and escalation in the West Bank, and to support Palestine’s bid for full membership in the United Nations, as well as mechanisms for implementing the UN General Assembly resolution to end the occupation and realize the establishment of the independent Palestinian state.
The meeting discussed efforts to support the Palestinian cause in all international forums, particularly at the United Nations, and to advance efforts to stop the Israeli aggression on Gaza. It also focused on the Arab action to support the recognition of the State of Palestine as a full member state.
Additionally, the meeting condemned the Israeli escalation and grave aggression against Lebanon, expressing full solidarity with the Lebanese government and people.
