Ramallah, Prime Minister’s Office – Prime Minister Dr. Mohammad Mustafa underscored the importance of joint coordination among various relief organizations operating in Gaza. He stressed that such efforts are crucial to ensuring fairness and transparency in aid distribution while protecting it from looting, especially given the acute shortages of food, medicine, shelter, and clothing endured by the Palestinian people.

In its weekly session held on Tuesday in Ramallah, the Cabinet discussed the latest political and field developments, along with ongoing efforts to halt the Israeli genocidal war waged against the Palestinian people in Gaza. The discussion also centered on intensifying international pressure for opening more border crossings and ensure the entry of larger volumes of humanitarian aid shipments to address the escalating crisis in the war-torn Strip.

During the session, the Cabinet received a briefing from Minister of Health Dr. Majed Abu Ramadan on the continued targeting of medical facilities by the Israeli occupation forces in Gaza; including its recent siege and destruction of several departments at Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, and the forced evacuation of medical staff and patients. The Minister further outlined the Ministry's international outreach efforts to halt these crimes against the health sector and provided updates on the Ministry’s efforts to strengthen medical teams in health facilities across West Bank Jenin Governorate.

It also received a briefing from the Minister of Interior, Major General Ziad Hab Al-Reeh, on the latest developments in Jenin Refugee Camp and ongoing efforts to ensure and safeguard civil peace, maintain law and order, and provide security and protection for the Palestinian people. The Minister emphasized the Security Establishment’s commitment and keenness to protecting citizens and maintaining their well-being throughout the law enforcement operations in the camp.

The Cabinet reaffirmed the importance of strengthening the resilience and steadfastness of the Palestinian people, and instructed government officials and department heads to increase their on-ground presence, ensuring direct engagement with citizens to address their urgent needs effectively.
