Amman, Prime Minister’s Office – Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammad Mustafa met today with Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi at the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in Amman.

During the meeting, Mustafa discussed with Safadi the latest developments in Palestine and coordinated positions and efforts in international forums to halt the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, as well as the attacks by Israeli occupation forces and settlers in the West Bank, including Jerusalem.

Dr. Mustafa and Safadi emphasized the deep historical and fraternal ties between the two nations and reaffirmed their commitment to joint action to achieve the legitimate and inalienable rights of the Palestinian people, including ending the occupation, achieving freedom, and realizing the establishment of the independent Palestinian state.

The Prime Minister expressed gratitude for Jordan’s unwavering and historic positions and support for Palestine, commending the significant efforts led by His Majesty King Abdullah II in supporting the Palestinian people and their legitimate cause. He highlighted Jordan’s steadfast role as the foremost defender and constant advocate for Palestinian rights.

Jordan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates reiterated that realizing the establishment of the independent, sovereign Palestinian state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital, based on the two-state solution, remains the only path to achieving peace. He underlined that this goal is a top priority for King Abdullah II, who dedicates all the Kingdom’s resources toward its realization.
