Prime Minister Mustafa, Egyptian Foreign Minister discuss Gaza Reconstruction Conference and immediate post-aggression plans

ANTALYA,  April 11, 2025 | Prime Minister’s Office –: Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammad Mustafa met on Friday with the Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigration Dr. Badr Abdel Aaty on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, in the presence of Palestinian Ambassador to Turkey Faed Mustafa and Assistant Foreign Minister Ambassador Omar Awadallah.

The two officials discussed the latest developments, including ongoing efforts to halt the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people, resume and stabilize a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, and the continued attacks by Israeli occupation forces and settlers in the West Bank, including Jerusalem.

They also reviewed preparations for the Gaza Reconstruction Conference, hosted by Egypt, and efforts to support and initiate the reconstruction plan with international partners immediately after the cessation of the aggression.

The meeting also covered ongoing coordination in international diplomatic efforts and reaffirmed the shared stance rejecting the forced displacement of Palestinians from Gaza and the West Bank, including Jerusalem, and emphasized the importance of ending the occupation and realizing the Palestinian state.

The Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF) is an annual conference on international diplomacy held in Antalya, Turkey, since 2021. It brings together policymakers, diplomats, and academics to exchange ideas and perspectives on diplomacy, politics, and business.
