Though we launched a vaccination campaign against COVID-19 yesterday,  our citizens are still required to wear masks, maintain social distance, and respect the set preventive measures by the government, the Higher Emergency Committee, the governors, and the security services to combat the spread of the virus.

I salute our people who defend their land in the face of Israeli colonial settlement plans. In this context, we extend our condolences to the family of martyr Atef Hanaysha, who was killed by the occupation forces while defending his land. I also salute our people in Beit Dajan and all areas that face and resist the colonialists.

We started working towards achieving digital transformation (and electronic payments) during the upcoming months. Therefore, I have assigned the Minister of Communications and Information Technology to collaborate with telecommunications companies to reduce telecommunications prices to allow cheaper, faster, and more efficient communication and IT services.

Israeli voters will head tomorrow to the polls. We consider these elections an internal Israeli affair; however, all electoral campaigns came at the expense of our land and our people as Israeli parties competed to take over more Palestinian land and build more settlements. Accordingly, we condemn these frenzied campaigns against our land, our holy sites, and our people. We also call upon the international community to take action to stop all these actions.

We condemn the harassment that the Foreign Minister and his accompanying delegation were subjected to during their return from a meeting with the International Criminal Court's prosecutor. Such intimidation will not prevent the course of justice from being served.
