-Yesterday, the Ministry of Health returned 90,000 soon-to-expire Pfizer doses to Israel. We have agreed to accelerate the provision of COVID-19 vaccines to our people to achieve herd immunity through vaccinating 70% of the community, bring life back to normal, and reopen schools and universities.

-These vaccines were purchased from Pfizer Inc. through the state treasury. In agreement with the company, we were supposed to receive the vaccines from quantities that the company had in Israel. However, the Israeli Ministry of Health delayed the delivery of the first batch of doses, which, once we received it, appeared to expire soon. Therefore, we returned it immediately. The agreement, signed by the Ministry of Health, will be published to the public. In terms of the follow up on this matter, we will recommend that the Cabinet approves the formation of an independent committee as follows: Head of the Independent Commission for Human Rights, Ammar Al-Dweik, as chairman, Dr. Bassem Khoury, representing the pharmaceutical industries in Palestine, the former head of the Doctors Syndicate, Nizam Najeeb, the coordinator of private hospitals, a representative of the World Health Organization, and the representative of the civil sector in the health sector, Dr. Salwa Al-Najab.

-Accordingly, no change has been made to the vaccination program provided to citizens who wish to get vaccinated in the health centers in all governorates. I invite all citizens to get vaccinated for their safety.

-We are among the first countries in the world that have begun to recover from the pandemic. I call on all our citizens to continue their adherence to social distancing and limit social habits that transmit the virus.

-Israel did not stop the executions of our children, the last of whom was Ahmed Bani Shamsa from Beita village. We call upon the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, who held Israel responsible for its violations against our children, to add the occupying State to the list of countries and groups violating children's rights and hold it legally accountable for its crimes.

-We salute our people in Beita, who continue to offer sacrifices until removing the recently established Israeli settlement on their land. We will provide all requirements for the steadfastness of our people in Beita, especially in Jabal Sbaih, which has become a model for the continuous confrontation of Israel's colonial- settlement expansion on our land.

-The Gaza Reconstruction Committee formed by the government continues to assess the damage caused by the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip. The meetings of our ministerial delegation to Cairo last week emphasized that the reconstruction committee formed by the government will be in charge of the follow-up and reconstruction processes.

-We express our appreciation for 250 journalists working in major American media outlets to sign a letter that called for lifting these outlets' blackout on Israeli violations against our people and stop the systematic repression against the Palestinian narrative. We also welcome the increasing criticism in the US of Israel's occupation and illegal policies, including by Jewish Voice for Peace and J Street, which openly calls for ending the occupation, the independence of Palestine, and stopping ethnic cleansing policies against our people.

-It's important to emphasize that our educational curricula reflect our lives, our children's dreams for freedom, and the suffering of our people from the occupation and its violations. Everything mentioned in our school textbooks is an accurate and honest description of the suffering of our people for more than seven decades, during which they suffered from forceful displacement and from the killing of their children in massacres that the Israeli archive reveals its horrific details.

-While our curricula respond to our children's cultural, historical, psychological, scientific, technological, economic, and development needs, they also deal with the international charters and resolutions that consider the Palestinian territory an occupied territory. The curricula respond to UNESCO standards and values of truth, justice, and equality, which are the values that our people struggle to obtain with the end of the occupation of our land.

-The Palestinian curricula cannot be judged by standards far from the history and culture of our people, their suffering, and sacrifices to obtain their right to freedom and independence from occupation, injustice, and colonialism.

-I call on Europe to conduct a study of Israeli textbooks and curricula similar to the study prepared on our curricula by a German institution and a fund from the European Union.

-Yesterday, 72 agreements were signed with students and university graduates to carry out agricultural projects in the Jordan Valley. Ten dunums of endowment lands were leased to each one to cultivate them during a specified period. This is the first phase of many other steps to pave the way for graduates to invest and benefit from endowment lands.
